Samarah Hasan-Kepes

Host, Script

Samarah is a 7th grader in Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion School in Hadley, MA. She is a gymnast and pianist-in-training. Samarah is interested in all things creative and is an award winning youth nail art entrepreneur. She speaks English, Mandarin and a little Bengali. She loves to bake cakes and go to fun concerts with her friends and family.

Careb is an Information Systems Management student at NYU with a passion for UX/UI

design and content creation. I enjoy bringing ideas to life through digital design and video editing, combining creativity and storytelling to create engaging experiences. 


Dr. Fadia Nordtveit

 Creator, Producer, Researcher, Host

 

 

Dr. Fadia Nordtveit believes that inclusion and sustainability aren't just buzz words - they are the essential building blocks of a healthy, functional business and society. Driven by a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and sustainability she has dedicated her career to ensuring that the structures we build today are inclusive for everyone.

As a faculty member at New York University and Bard College and the founder of Collaborative.ly, Fadia helps organizations move beyond performative change management through her proprietary framework, Inclusive Business Model Canvas (IBMC). Her work, which bridges the gap between academic research and entrepreneurial action, has been featured by the Financial Times, SXSW, The Boston Globe, NBC, Authority Magazine. She is also the creator of multimedia podcast called Talking Out of Line. She is the author of multiple books and articles in a variety of topics within Business, Society, Impact, Sustainability and Inclusion.

Dr. Fadia’s PhD research, book and nonprofit initiatives explore environmental communication, climate justice, and participatory media, including her founding of The BGreen Project. Her earlier work includes research on Fair Trade, inclusion, and brand representation (UMass Amherst), and gender, representation, and screen cultures (Hampshire College). A certified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) administrator, Dr. Fadia integrates cultural competency into all aspects of her work.
